Mr G Q
Michael helped get William dressed for church...Truth is, he's not colorblind. He really did think this matched!
(So we took some pictures, and ate lunch, then I could change his clothes without hurting Mick's feelings)

visitors
I had a surprise visit from my niece, Lori, and her boys. It was so fun to see her again, and to meet her sweet boys!
Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit!

Cloud Gate in Chicago
almost a characture
I love this picture. I know it's a little exagerated, but sometimes, it seems like her big, blue eyes are really this big and blue.
I just adore this sweet girl!
I just adore this sweet girl!
Mother's Day
I am a mother. I love all that is said in that sentence. It includes the joys of motherhood, the frustrations of motherhood, the sleepness nights of 'new' motherhood, the seasoned hugs of 'old' motherhood, it may even include a few tears, but it also holds the fun yet to come.
Well, Andrew got me this year. What an absolute sweetheart!!!
First, he gave his first sacrament meeting talk today--Mother's Day. Ben helped him prepare and included a marvelous tribute to motherhood. Thanks, boys!
Then, after church, Andrew handed me this poem that he had written.
MOM
You are my mother
You gave birth
To me
Caring
For me
Ever so
Gently
Loving
As a mother
Should be
Your cooking
Warms my soul
Your long
Curly
Brown
Hair
Your soft
Smooth
Skin
I cannot hear you
Creep up
Behind me
&squeeze
So tightly
You smell
So much
Of love
I cannot
Describe it
You & love
Are one
You are like
A Popsicle
On a hot
Summer's
Day
You are like
An angel
Living with me
You are
My mother
And I
Love you
Is that not SO sweet! Andrew, I love you too. Thanks for making motherhood so wonderful!
Happy Mother's Day to all the MOMs who read this!
