Andrew

My oldest son, Andrew...I know I don't have many pictures of him up. I think it's because of a combination of things. 1) he's often behind the camera (I'm amazed at some of the pictures he's taken) 2) he's camera shy or 3) he's in his room with his nose in a book when I'm clicking away. Maybe I just need to get one of those pictures up...

Joshua...the toothless wonder

While William was busy finding teeth, Joshua has been busy losing them. The first three were lost with the aid of his mom (he was just too nervous to 'pop' them out) but the most recent one...he woke me up Sunday morning by saying he 'touched it with his tongue and it just popped out!'

Williams teeth

While I was away, there were a few happenings. William cut his first tooth a few weeks ago, but I couldn't get a picture of it...and before I knew it, there was another one. Now he's smiling all the time so you can see them.

changes...

I'm still working on it, but you may have noticed some changes. I'm finally feeling comfortable enough to sit down at the computer, so I tried to get some more 'un-froggetable' images up. What do you think?

Healing Hands...

I am SO thank full for chiropractors! Anyone who's had a problem with their back knows what I'm talking about. And if you are clueless?...well, stay that way!!!! A couple of weeks ago, with no warning, my back took the last straw. Pain much worse that childbirth and no relief in sight...that was just the beginning. Kids are on summer break, William is 5 months old (and thankfully, not too mobile) but still needs toting around, laundry still gets dirty, and dishes too,... life is still going on. But not me! The house (something I struggle with anyway) is overwhelming, the kids have learned to fend on PB&J, and I've learned to ask for help from everyone. Quite humbling. But day by day, I'm getting my back--back.
So, for those of you who are clueless (and that's a compliment), may I educate you a little bit...Chiropractic theory is this: if you keep proper alignment in the spine (healthy diet, activity, and posture among other things) your body can heal at 100%. You will be more able to avoid or fight disease (such as cancer). You'll have more energy and sleep better. (oh, and the chiropractor can pay for his education, his children's education, and his Lamborgini--either because you take a preventative stance on your health, or you wait for a 'last straw' like me.
So, join me and go visit your chiropractor today!
( no advertising agencies were involved in this schpill, just my personal opinions)
...and in case you were wondering, I am doing much better-but still limited in what I can (and should) do. It'll be a while....

...Blessings...something to think about....

I came across this blog a few days ago. Wisdom, ache, hurt, peace, faith, strength. These are just a few of the words that come to mind. I hope you enjoy reading Stephanie's musings as much as I do. And I hope you find the strenth and hope that she has shared with me. (...no, I don't even know her, but she's changed my life for good just the same) Thanks, Jill, for sending this my way.

Juice box...

My day started yesterday with a phone call from a friend rather early. She was on her way to the ER, but was calling to ask her Home Teacher (Ben) to come give her son a blessing. It turned out that it was his apendix that needed to be removed so while Ben was on his way to the hospital, C was being prep'd for surgery. When Ben got home, he reported to me that C was getting an IV when he arrived and the mature little guy says, 'I guess I'm just like a juice box.'--calm and collected (or already doped up) Surgery went well, and we hope to see them home tonight when we bring dinner.

5 months old

I'm trying to get a picture of it, but so far, no luck! William has his first tooth, cut on Monday, the 7th of July. Like Andrew, he doesn't seem to have a problem with teething, other than LOTS of DROOL! I can handle that.

So, So, Suck your toe...
